Who doesn’t love Fully Loaded Chili Dogs? Chili dogs are a creative and fun way to use up that leftover chili. This can be an especially fun dinner idea if you have kids! The topping options are endless and you can use almost anything that you have in the fridge.
For the chili, you can use almost any chili recipe in existence, you can even use a leftover bolognese sauce!

Chili Dogs Couldn’t be Easier to Make
As an added bonus, these fully loaded chili dogs are almost too easy to make!
All you have to do is cook the hot dogs or sausages, whichever you prefer. We enjoy using Hot Italian Sausages, and I just fry them up in my favourite cast iron pan.
Next, heat up the chili. You’ll want it as warm as you would normally serve chili.
The worst is over… yes, it gets even easier from here.
After the hot dogs or sausages are cooked and the chili is warm. Arrange each hot dog or sausage inside of each hot dog bun.
Top the buns with the warm chili and any additional toppings that you prefer!
Make it a kid friendly “DIY” dinner
This could be a fun “do it yourself” dinner to do with kids, too! Just lay it all out on the table and let everyone choose their favorite toppings!
