Hello again! Another month down means another dash of sparkle newsletter! September was perfect, definitely bitter sweet and with it we bid farewell to summer for another year (mixed feelings over here). Honestly summer is always chaotic for us and I am happy that we will be at HOME for a while!
Along with the end of September, another quarter has ended and we will have a whole pile of updates for you a little later in this post!
Bye Camping!
That’s it for camping season for us! We had one last trip planned for the last weekend in September, but winter decided to sneak attack and dump about two feet of SNOW on us. Thankfully we decided before we left that we needed to stay home.

We love camping, but honestly I am happy that I won’t have to pack the camper and our cooler for a while!
We have only been home for one weekend so far and we already have a list of about 15 things that we want to do around the house! So even though we will be home, we will be busy this fall and winter!

Podcasts, Podcasts, Podcasts!!!
I just realized that I have never ever talked about podcasts with you guys! Which is surprising to me, because I listen to podcasts more than anything else!
I LOOOVE a good true crime podcast, but I also follow a boat load of podcasts that talk about food, blogging and business.
I combed through my list and picked my absolute favourite top three podcasts.
- 22 hours: An American Nightmare
- To Live and Die in LA
- Food Blogger Pro Podcast
The first two, if you love true crime like I do, you HAVE to add these to your list! I powered through each of them in less than a day. So good!
The Food Blogger Pro Podcast. If you are a food blogger (or any kind of blogger) you have to listen to this podcast! Every episode is packed full of information that you didn’t even know you needed to know! They release new episodes every Tuesday and you better believe it is the FIRST thing I turn on!
New on the blog
Top 3 recipes from the last month
Antojitos

Antojitos are quite possibly the most popular recipe that I have ever posted! I posted the recipe in late September and they topped the charts by a long shot in views! With good reason, these are the best appetizer EVER!
Cream Cheese Stuffed Chicken Breast

These cream cheese stuffed chicken breasts are a long time favourite. I have been making these since I was maybe 9 or 10 years old! They used to be my signature recipe ?. But seriously, they are awesome!
Honey Garlic Sauce

Homemade Honey Garlic Sauce is something everyone should know how to make! It is so much healthier than the bottled stuff, and it seriously can go on or in almost anything!
Meal Planning Mini Course
I also wrote a mini course on a topic that I am hugely passionate about; meal planning! This meal planning mini course is complete with examples and a free printable meal planner!
Meal planning saves you a TON of money, keeps you healthier, and you will always know what you’ll be making for dinner! Of course you will have to do a solid 30 minutes of work, but after that you can just coast for 2 weeks, armed with a kick ass meal plan!
Also, make sure you check out these two meal planning recipe roundups if you are looking for some ideas!
The 3rd Quarter
This felt like our slowest quarter, but it totally wasn't! We were able to grow the blog in September and we are super happy to see an upward trend, finally!
In the last 3ish weeks we have doubled down on content and now we have established a good routine. So be ready for piles of new content and recipes, headed to your screens soon!

We need your help!
We are ultimately here because we love our readers! I have made some great connections since starting the blog (almost a year ago!!! Gasp).
But now we have something to ask YOU! We want to know what you want to see more of on Whipped It Up!
Shoot us a comment below, and tell us exactly what you want to see! Also, we would love to know what you’re Dash of Sparkle was in September!
To get a hold of us, you can shoot us an email or leave a comment down below! We can also be found on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.
Thank you! We love the support and really appreciate it!

Jessica! Two things:
1. I LOVE Daisy Jones & the Six. Love love love. Have you read, "The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo"? It's by the same author, and it's incredible as well!
2. So happy you're enjoying the FBP Podcast. ? Your support means so much!
