One Classic Flavour & One Crazy Flavour!

First of all, you will need a perfect pizza crust recipe, click here! And a Pizza Marinara Sauce recipe, click here! The pizza crust can make or break a good pizza, I have spent years perfecting the recipe, and I finally have gotten it down to a simple and easy to follow science! Now onto the good stuff!

Cheese Pizza

We will start with the most classic flavour, cheese! Everyone loves a good cheese pizza, and as my fiance Eddie says, “everyone says they hate cheese pizza, and it is always the first one gone!” Well this one will get gobbled up too!

Classic Cheese Pizza

Makes one 14″ Cheese Pizza 
Prep Time 5 mins
Cook Time 15 mins
Total Time 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Pizza Marinara Sauce
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Havarti Cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, shredded

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 500°F, when the oven has reached 500°F, reset the oven down to 475°F 
  • On a 14″ pizza crust, evenly spread out the pizza marinara sauce
  • Top with shredded cheeses 
  • Bake in preheated oven for 14-16 minutes until the pizza is golden brown. Remove from the oven and let the pizza slightly cool on the pan for 5 minutes before serving.

Cranberry Brie Chicken Pizza

Now for the crazy one! Cranberry Brie Chicken Pizza! This is the kind of pizza that is right up my alley! This is a great option if you want something a little more unique, and far from boring!

Cranberry Brie Chicken Pizza

Makes one 14″ pizza

Ingredients

Cranberry Sauce

  • 1 1/2 cups Whole Cranberries , fresh or frozen
  • 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar

Pizza Toppings

  • 1 Chicken Breast, cooked and cubed
  • 1 1/2 cups Brie Cheese, cut into 1/2″ cubes
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
  • Red Onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

Cranberry Sauce

  • In a small sauce pan, combine the cranberries and sugar. 
  • Over medium-low heat, stirring regularly, bring the cranberries to a simmer. With the back of a spoon, crush the cranberries. Simmer until mixture has thickened, about 15-20 minutes. Set aside and let cool. 

Pizza Assembly

  • Preheat oven to 500°F, when the oven has reached 500°F, reset the oven down to 475°F 
  • On a 14″ pizza crust, evenly spread out the cranberry sauce. 
  • Top with chicken, cheeses, and red onions. 
  • Bake in preheated oven for 14-16 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let the pizza slightly cool on the pan for 5 minutes before serving.
