We all know it’s not the super bowl without a spread of *way to much* good food. Good Food and Super Bowl go together like peas and carrots, rain and sunshine, ying and yang, and that’s just how it is.

Today I am sharing 15 outstanding super bowl recipes that will dazzle your guests on the big day. With these recipes no matter what team you are cheering for, you will know the food is better than a touchdown!

serving the queso cheese dip on a platter with homemade nachos

    Queso Cheese Dip

This cheese dip is the actual bomb. It tastes just like that overpriced, way too hot cheese dip that you get in the flimsy plastic containers at a sporting event. This queso cheese dip can be served with nachos, tortilla chips, veggie sticks, OR used to make this nacho pizza. (yes, you read that right, NACHO PIZZA)

serving honey garlic wings and buffalo wings with a side of dipping sauce and vegetables

    Crispy Baked Chicken Wings

Wings are basically a super bowl essential. But can I tell you a secret? You don’t need a deep fryer to have crispy chicken wings! These chicken wings are baked with a couple basic ingredients and come out crispy and crunchy every time. Get ready to impress your team and slather your chicken wings with their favorite sauce! You have to try our famous easy homemade honey garlic sauce.

stuffed mushrooms prepared and ready to serve

    Cheesy Stuffed Mushrooms

These mushrooms are a crowd favorite. They are the first appetizer gone at every party and they are SO easy to make. They can even be prepared the day before!

    Hawaiian Sliders with Bacon Mayo

These sliders are a SHOWSTOPPER. They are made with homemade chorizo patties (easier than you think!), a fresh pineapple pico de gallo, and most importantly bacon mayonnaise!

Dipping a coconut shrimp into the honey soy dipping sauce

Coconut Shrimp with Honey Soy Dipping Sauce

This is one of our most popular recipes across our entire collection and for a good reason. These coconut shrimp are SO crunchy and packed with the most lovely flavours. The honey soy dipping sauce is just as lip-smacking good, creating the perfect pair.

a stack of mac and cheese bites with the top two cut open to expose the cheesy insides

Fried Mac and Cheese Bites with Sweet Basil Marinara

These mac and cheese bites are seriously next level. Take any mac and cheese bite you’ve ever tasted and put them up against these and I bet you these ones will win. They are crispy and crunchy on the outside and filled with the cheesiest, stringy-est mac and cheese on the inside. The sweet basil marinara dipping sauce is sweet and tangy, pairing perfectly with the mac and cheese bites.

Smoked Cheddar and Bacon Jalapeno Poppers

Jalapeno poppers are another staple at any super bowl party and these ones will not disappoint. They are loaded with flavour and baked instead of fried! These can also be prepared the day before.

a man dipping an antojito into the sour cream and pesto sauce

    Antojitos

This is another one of the most popular recipes on our site, Antojitos! These are a popular Mexican street food, packed with a spicy cream cheese mixture and then baked in the oven. They are also another appetizer that can be made a day ahead and just baked on the big day. Dipping them in sour cream or basil pesto is highly recommended.

bowl of guacamole garnished with fresh parsley

    Classic Guacamole

Yea I know that the grocery store sells this stuff premade, and it's pretty good, but nothing is as good as a freshly homemade guacamole. It is the perfect refreshing dip to serve alongside veggie sticks, nachos, or even used as a topper on burgers!

two burgers standing tall side by side

    Pure Beef Burgers

Speaking of burgers… These beef burgers are outstanding. Using only a few staple pantry ingredients these burgers can be whipped up and thrown on the barbecue within minutes. Don’t forget to serve up that guacamole as a topping with these!

prepared bang bang shrimp on a marble serving dish

    Bang Bang Shrimp

Bang Bang Shrimp are seriously better than a touchdown. Your guests will go crazy when you bring out these little morsels. They are crispy, and tossed with the most crazy delicious sauce ever. Save this recipe, you’ll be making it again!

a man holding a crunchwrap supreme; ready to take a bite!

    Crunchwrap Supreme

Yea, like the fast food version. These crunchwrap supremes will have your guests asking when the delivery person stopped by. They taste identical to the fast food version, except of course, they are homemade and fresh. SO GOOD.

Fully loaded chili dogs, prepared and served on a wooden serving board

    Fully Loaded Chili Dogs

Chili dogs are another sporting event essential. Make a big batch of your favourite chili a couple days before and serve up these bad boys on the big day!

a blackened chicken sandwich on a wooden serving board with a beer in the background

    Blackened Chicken Sandwiches

The perfect sandwich to serve with beer, and for the super bowl. These are mildly spicy, deliciously juicy, and served with a quick salsa aioli. Your guests will be drooling.

top down view of the pizza, sliced, with one piece slightly removed

    Spicy Pierogi Pizza

This pizza is out of this world. It’s basically putting handfuls of spicy potato chips ON A PIZZA. There is nothing better and your team is sure to approve!

Tips to Host the Perfect Super Bowl Party

    1. Plan your recipes and make as much food ahead of time as possible. The last thing you want is to be stuck in the kitchen all day while everyone else is enjoying the super bowl and the food!
    2. Organize. I know this might sound overboard, but if you are hosting a big party, make a list of all the food you are preparing and when you want to serve it. Keep the list handy and glance at it throughout the night to keep yourself on track and organized.
    3. Enjoy yourself. Don’t get overwhelmed. It ruins the mood, your guests will pick up on it and you will be miserable. If it doesn't work out just the way you planned, that is OK! Just roll with it and pretend that is how it was meant to be, after all, it’s just food.
